I am a marketing and advertising specialist with over 20 years South African and international experience. I have worked in the South African advertising industry since 2011. Prior to this I spent 7 years as digital marketing manager with Weight Watchers UK, a New York Stock Exchange listed global organisation which has helped millions of people around the world lose weight.
I have a proven track record in creation and execution of marketing strategy, achieving marketing KPIs, establishing and leading marketing teams, systems and processes, launching and growing start-up digital businesses and driving continued business growth through marketing efforts.
- Public Relations: I oversee all communications related to media and media relations across people, activities and projects. Manage comms and PR strategy with a PR partner.
- Platforms: I oversee all agency/group platforms, including but not limited to social channels, websites and mailers. This also includes leading and executing the paid media strategy with a paid media partner.

In my role as Head of Brand and New Business for United Growth Group, I was responsible for the development and maintenance of all brands across United Growth Group businesses, ensuring brand image and voice remain consistent through all communications, both locally and internationally.

As Head of New Business, I was responsible for ensuring that our agency group businesses are positioned favourably during pitches, working alongside the CEO and our co-Managing Directors to compile and deliver compelling pitch presentations.
I monitor and track the new business pipeline, and identify and nurture relevant leads.

• I delivered improved engagement rates & follower growth across strategically relevant social media platforms to exceed 2023 KPIs.
• I established ongoing paid media and SEO, improving overall keyword ranking performance during 2023.
• I developed and executed a full marketing plan for SHIFT, specialist agency within Joe Public.
• I managed our Effie Awards entries for 2022 and 2023. Joe Public achieved 4 X silver and 4 X bronze awards in 2023, under my project leadership – this was our best performance at Effies to date.
• Working alongside our PR department, I spearheaded the PR strategy for our agency group, growing international exposure through relationships with leading international industry publications, including The Drum, Little Black Book and Campaign UK.
• Working directly with the CEO, I collaborated on our AdFocus entries for 2023 and 2024, winning Overall Agency of the Year, Large Agency of the Year and the Transformation Award in both years.

• Management of digital marketing strategy, performance campaigns and business growth for NetcarePlus, which aims to make private healthcare available at an affordable price.
• Management of digital strategy, social media and digital marketing campaigns for MAGGI.
• Management of website development, social media and digital marketing campaigns for MFS Africa.
