Perry Fair has broken barriers as the first African American man to lead a publicly-traded advertising agency. With over 20 years of experience in the industry, Perry has fostered relationships with prestigious global clients such as Adidas, Apple, Beats By Dre, the NFL, and Red Bull, among many others.
Perry is known as a top "creative business leader" and trusted advisor to brands. He transformed J. Walter Thompson's Atlanta, Dallas, and Houston offices into the most profitable and most awarded in the global JWT network by prioritizing creativity during his tenure as President and Chief Creative Officer. He also served as Global Head of Creative for Beats By Dre, where his creative acumen was on full display. Moreover, as Head of Partnerships for Red Bull and Red Bull Media House North America, he used his abilities to create profitable opportunities for brands. Perry's passion for start-ups led him to create WALTER, a start-up agency that ranked behind Twitter as one of the most innovative ideas at its launch.
Perry is regarded as a respected ambassador of the advertising industry, and his industry knowledge has made him a regular advisor to Fortune 500 CMOs, as well as Advertising Award shows and panels. He sits on the board of several independent companies and serves as an advisor to several advertising schools.
In his spare time, Perry's creative talents extend beyond advertising; he has sold a full-length feature to Intrepid Pictures/Universal and completed his second feature and first full-length novel.
