I have a background in freelance editorial illustration, narrative illustration & comics, children's illustration, printmaking, graphic design, and surface design. The briefs that always get me personally invested are the ones that involve interesting characters bringing forth thought provoking messages or questions at the core of their story (which can be rooted equally light and dark subjects). You'll also notice from my work that I'm absolutely not shy around exploring surreal design and using color. I was definitely the kid who had to try out every single crayon, marker, or color pencil to see what they looked like on the page.
