Through a career spanning 17 plus years of experience at both multinational network and local independent agencies, Andrew has experience working across the Sri Lankan, UAE and African markets with brands such as Unilever, Idemitsu, Carlsberg, Red Bull, Keells and Anchor Newdale, to name a few. He is currently the Group Executive Creative Director of the Magic Mango Group, leading the creative efforts across Magic Mango, Popkorn, Pimpl and Slot Machine.
Under his leadership, the group has been well recognised both globally and locally across creative and effectiveness awards, with Magic Mango being named among the AOY Top 3 Creative Agencies in the Rest of South Asia Category for five consecutive years, and Popkorn being named the AOY Boutique Agency of the Year across the entire South Asian region in the year 2023. Andrew has also been a part of local and international jury panels upon invitation such as Young Spikes, Young Lotus, 4A's Advertising Festival. AdForum PHNX, etc.
Andrew's academic qualifications include being a CIM qualified marketer, and is very passionate about growing the future of the industry, having spoken at Moratuwa University, AMDT, and spearheading the group's push to help interns from Moratuwa University, AMDT, AOD and NAITA, fall in love with advertising.
