About me
Artist and unapologetic thrifter at heart, when creating a set, I try to put myself in the character's shoes in order to imagine what the surroundings would be like. In my approach I go beyond the necessary practical process, creating a more rich finished product for the camera to capture.
I discovered my passion by designing sets in high school.
In 2003 I designed my first formal set for an international level Ópera presented in Tijuana’s premier theatre, at the early age of 21.
In 2007, (25) I was invited into the film world as a Production Designer/ Art Director.
I have delivered in a broad variety of ways within the art department, as Production Designer, Art Director, Decorator, Sculptor and Scenic Artist, I enjoy every role.
A love story brought me to the US, in Central Texas where I have spent the last 6 years balancing work primarily as Production Designer in commercials and raising a family.
