For the last eight years Denise has been the brand agency (Brook-Schwartz) for a diagnostic/device company that has grown from 158 million to 1.56 billion in revenue. Launching 12 devices, 14 assays, 5 acquisitions, named 5 devices, one corporate rebrand, and won 14 awards along the way.
– Denise has been defining and developing brand experiences for the best part of two decades. She brings a wealth of creative experience to Brook-Schwartz from her time at The Nat, UCSD, and numerous small agencies from the 1990s. Under her leadership she rebranded Quidel Corporation (and maintains the Quidel brand direction today) , an international maker of rapid diagnostic products. This includes naming and successfully launching products that range from respiratory infectious diseases, hospital-acquired infections, women’s health and pregnancy, Lyme disease, cancer screening, cardiovascular disease, eye health, toxicology, public health, and currently Covid-19/SARs testing.
A passionate artist, gardener and cook, she balances time in her studio, garden and kitchen with enjoying the cultural and culinary delights of San Diego, and traveling whenever she gets the chance.
