Kalle Hellzen is a multi-disciplined creative leader with roots in design, innovation and narrative media. Always looking to create meaningful and valuable human/brand interactions, Kalle’s ultimate goal is to drive growth and business value through the intersection of stories, systems, and technology.
A Swedish native, Kalle has over two decades of global experience working across agency, production and client-side. Before joining 180 Kingsday to run the creative department and oversee output across all clients, Kalle led R/GA in Los Angeles and served as creative lead on the L.A. Dodgers Start-Up accelerator.
Before this, Kalle held executive creative and innovation positions at award-winning game development studio Toca Boca and Goodby Silverstein & Partners in San Francisco. He also established the US arm of the famous Swedish creative & fashion collective, ACNE, as a partner, creative director and director.
Throughout his twenty years in the industry, Kalle’s work has been recognised by the worlds biggest creative award shows, something he attributes to his amazing co-worker’s, collaborators and his brave clients.
Alongside the wins, he has also judged at Cannes Lions, Le BOOK Connections, The Andy Awards, The A-List Awards, NXT Stage and Månadens Kampanj. When he can find the time, he writes for a range of industry publications such as Campaign and Adweek among others.
