Its been quite a year for Mark so far... He's been named in “ The Silicon 60 Global Tech Entrepreneurs,” "The Most Influential Londoners" “The Sunday Times Top people in Britain,” and “The Debretts Top 10 Digital List,” and has been invited to do a TED talk.
Marks journey started in 2005 when he created the first digital consultancy to focus on celebrities and public figures. The company quickly became the go-to "digital guys" for the Hollywood A-list and Mark had the enviable job of meeting all his heroes (easy) and trying to get them to change their business and embrace digital (not easy.) The company was soon acquired by the worlds biggest talent agency William Morris Endeavour.
He then went on to Co-Found the Audience, which raised $40million in funding from Sean Parker of Facebook to deliver large scale digital transformation for the worlds biggest entertainment brands. Rewiring their businesses for the digital world.
He is a Tech City Ambassador and is on the advisory board of many startups and charities including Stop Funding Hate, an organisation which pressurises brands to pull their advertising budgets from media companies that fuel fear, division and hatred.
Mark is also the Co-Founder and Chairman of the Digital Leadership Council, an authoritative think tank based at University College London which brings together entrepreneurs, universities, lawyers and the tech community to help inform law and policy around digital.
Mark has always been a highly in-demand keynote speaker and presents extensively at events worldwide. In his fun and provocative talks he argues that a successful digital mindset requires emotional intelligence above all things.
Since 2015 Mark has worked at Vice Media in London where he is Vice President and Head of Innovation.
