About me

Lisa is a Creative Director, with 16 years of experience from small boutiques to larger creative agencies; she's also worked inside one of the largest museums of art and design in London. Currently she is the VP of Brand Design at Chobani. Fast Company ranked Chobani as the 9th most innovative company in the world.


Prior to Chobani Lisa lead the design team at Wolff Olins New York, focused on creating striking, groundbreaking and commercially successful work that challenged expectations. She did this by bringing strategy to life with bold creative, with high-energy and high-speed collaboration. She also work together with the leadership team to shape and grow the NY business, and was responsible for building a multidisciplinary design community and creating the conditions for them to do their best work.


Awards include a Brand Impact Award in Culture for The Met, a Cannes Lions Silver for the rebrand of USA Today, a Fast Company Innovation by Design Awards for USA Today, an Art Directors Club Editorial Design Silver Cube for redesign of the newspaper for USA Today, and a Silver Obie Awards for the Grand Central Station Domination Campaign for USA Today. Other awards include D&AD, Design Week Awards, iD Annual Design Review and London International Advertising and Design Awards.


In 2016 she was the foreman judge at D&AD professional awards for Graphic Design and has also judged the D&AD student awards and the Clio Awards in New York. She has spoken at Glug NYC, The Secret Handshake/AIGA, How Design Live, 4 Designers London Conference as well at design schools in New York, London, Scotland and Wales.


Lisa was honored to be included in the 'People to Watch in 2016’ GD USA publication, and was interviewed for Eye on Design, AIGA, about 'Where Designers Work'​. Interviews, work and writing has also been featured in Fastco Design, Wired, Creative Review, Design Week, Adweek, Computer Arts, New York Times, It’s Nice That, LS:N Global, Design Assembly, Grafik and YCN.

Leading the creative vision for The Met, reinventing identity and user experience for Grubhub and Zocdoc, and disrupting the newspaper industry with the work on USA Today. 2005 - 2007 (2 years)
Designed across a variety of disciplines, from print, advertising to exhibition design. Partnered with 3D designer to produce concepts, design and production on a group exhibition, Twilight: Photography in the Magic Hour, which included artists Gregory Crewdson and Philip-di Lorca Corcia. During this period I also collaborated with well known photographers and illustrators on two V&A Annual Reports, as well as photographer David Stewart and fashion illustrator David Downton on major exhibition campaigns.

Worked directly with Creative Director and founder of Browns, Jonathan Ellery. Establishing and maintaining relationships with a number of the agencies profile clients including Channel 4, for whom I designed their award-winning annual report for three years, D&AD (Design & Art Direction), Magnum photographers Susan Meiselas and Bruce Gilden, illustrator/artist Paul Davis and fashion designer Dries Van Noten.
