Greg Hughs

For more than 25 years, I have been involved in the creation of moving images.
As a director and an EMMY® award-winning producer, I have worked on more than 500 commercials, music videos, TV shows and feature films in the last 25 years.

My career began in the wildly creative music video industry of the 1990's where I produced music videos for artists such as Clint Black, 311, Pat Benatar, Blake Shelton, Don Henley, Air Supply, and Lyle Lovett.

In 2001 I began directing commercials and have since had the pleasure of helming projects for Southwest Airlines, The Home Depot, State Farm, Samsung, and H-E-B, among others.

My experience in spherical video and VR goes all the way back to 1999. My most recent VR work, "Your Land. Your Horse." is featured below and is touring the country in support of The Mustang Heritage Foundation. In addition to winning several awards, that project was selected for the 2017 Immersive Film Festival in Espinho, Portugal where it was projected inside a planetarium dome!

My work has won numerous awards including, 2 EMMY Awards, Platinum Awards from Worldfest Houston, over a dozen Addys (including Best In Show) and more than 3 dozen Telly Awards.

I love shooting beautiful imagery and creating memorable experiences.
