Alvaro, a native of San Sebastián - Spain, has spent more than 18 years creating and executing integrated campaigns in Europe, Latin-America and the U.S. During his career, Alvaro held responsibilities as account manager, strategist and creative copywriter at top customer engagement agencies and his work for blue chip brands such as Jeep, Levi’s, Pepsi, Mercedes, AT&T, Smart, or Google, amongst others, has always been characterized for looking at cultural themes and tensions that could trigger deep engagement between brands and audiences. Alvaro’s multidisciplinary expertise and deep understanding of cross-cultural societies give him a unique perspective on how brands can combine storytelling and technology to build long lasting relations with their customers. Since his arrival at OgilvyOne NY, Alvaro has developed a proprietary planning tool for OgilvyOne (DAVE) as part of the agency’s positioning as leading Customer Engagement Agency. As responsible of the Engagement Planning Department, he manages all planners and oversees the strategic work for key agency clients such IBM, Coca-Cola, E*Trade, UPS, NASCAR, Aetna, BlackRock, iShares, Famous Footwear.
