As Regional President, Martin leads Wunderman throughout Asia Pacific. He oversees Wunderman’s efforts in 14 countries, including Australia, and was appointed to the Wunderman Executive Board in 2014.
Martin came into the roles following his position as Chief Operating Officer of Wunderman Brand Experience, streamlining operations and creating a more integrated digital global offering.
A veteran marketer, Martin served as Global Managing Director for Team Nokia from 2010 to 2013 directing a team of 550 in 50-plus markets. Before that, he built Wunderman International, our agency in Tokyo, from the ground up. The business grew to nearly $10 million in just a few years. These experiences give him a unique perspective on the agency, its operations, its technology and its talent.
Prior to joining Wunderman in 2006, Martin was with OgilvyOne, where he was the General Manager of OgilvyOne Tokyo and Managing Partner, Interactive. While there, he led the American Express team for the Ogilvy Group, including development of advertising, direct, digital and loyalty programs. He was responsible for the growth and development of digital services and partnerships.
Martin spent seven years at Agency.com (Omnicom Group) where he was Vice President of Client Services in New York, leading the Compaq and Verizon accounts. He then moved to Colorado to become Regional President, serving GM and Sprint and other Fortune 500 brands.
Martin has a Bachelor of Arts from Williams College and was formerly an English teacher in New York City. He now resides in Singapore.
