Peter Baert

Peter Baert is a Belgian radio producer and music composer for advertising, film and TV.

He is a progressive in the advertising world and has a sharp innovative mind for the creation and production of advertisement. Born in Bruges, Peter has always been surrounded by music. After hearing his father play piano around the house, he dropped his toys and started playing his fathers analog synthesizers.

Having always been intrigued by music and sound, Peter decided to immerse himself in the world of radio advertisement as an engineer, coach and composer. After having worked for many years with big brands and agencies he decided to take his own path and co-founded Raygun in 2006.

Raygun is a creative sound studio in Brussels, Belgium that focuses on the importance of original music in advertising and invites their clients to re-think Radio. Recently Peter has composed the music for the new Worldwide Samsonite “Travel lighter to go further” campaign.

Now Peter is setting up a new music-publishing concept for the advertising community.
