<p>Olivier Fleurot is CEO at MSLGROUP, but his career hasn’t always been related to advertising.<br />Prior to joining MSLGROUP, Olivier was executive chairman of Publicis Worldwide, where he created, among other things, Publicis Modem, the digital advertising practice.<br />From 1999 to 2006, Olivier was the CEO of the Financial Times Group in London. Olivier was the first French responsible for all the Group’s newspapers, magazines and online activities, including the Asia edition of the FT and FTChinese.com, which he launched in 2003.<br />In the early days of the internet, when many publishing companies were resisting new media, Olivier directed his international teams to integrate offline and digital operations-ultimately creating a seamless organization as early as 2002.<br />Prior to joining the FT, Olivier was CEO of Les Echos Group. Under his watch, Les Echos, in 1996, became the first French publisher to launch a website.<br />Originally trained as an engineer, he also worked as a journalist before entering media management.
