Vic Malanga establishes financial policies and procedures, directs financial strategy, and is responsible for the budgeting, auditing and treasury functions for Edelman globally. Vic also contributes to the company’s overall business planning and strategy.
Formerly, Vic was CFO of Edelman’s U.S. operations, and led the Client Financial Services Group which coordinates global contract negotiations, pricing decisions and financial management of global accounts.
Prior to joining Edelman in 1997, Vic was the CFO for a computer manufacturer and network service provider where he orchestrated the sale of the company to a public holding company.
During his tenure in public accounting he managed audits for the Federal Reserve Board, M&M Mars and The City of Alexandria, and orchestrated the fraud investigation of The United Way of America.
Vic is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a BS in Accounting from the University of Scranton and an MBA from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business.
