Born in Białystok in 1976. Dropped out of college where he studied architecture to pursue animation direction.
In 1999, he joined Platige Image where he currently serves as a creative director. Directed over 100 ads, game cinematics, animated shorts, and worked on multiple artistic projects. His movies, “The Cathedral” (2002), “Fallen Art” (2004) and “The Kinematograph” (2009) garnered international praise and success. “The Cathedral” was nominated for an Academy Award in 2003 and received the Best of Show award at SIGGRAPH. “Fallen Art” received the Jury Honors at the 2005 SIGGRAPH and the BAFTA Award in 2006. “The Kinematograph” was nominated for the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival. Bagiński directed the animated set design for the “Seven Gates of Jerusalem” concert, which was nominated for an Emmy Award in 2009. In 2010, he directed “Animated History of Poland” which promoted Poland at the Expo 2010 in Shanghai. In 2011, he served as the creative director for the MOVE YOUR IMAGINATION campaign that promoted Polish tourism at the ITB tourism trade fair in Berlin. Bagiński was also responsible for directing the iconic cinematics for “The Witcher”, “The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings” and “Cyberpunk 2077” all of which were released by CD Projekt RED. He’s currently involved in several feature projects including Wiedźmin movie.
