With nearly 20 years of experience at top national agencies such as TBWA/Chiat/Day, LA and Deutsch/LA, my work has been recognized by every major international award show. I was named to the Adweek Top 50 in 2014. The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity recently awarded 7 Cannes Lions to my campaign launch of Taco Bell’s new breakfast menu. I have extensive experience leading large national and international brands, overseeing the advertising and communications for Sony PlayStation, Call of Duty, Washington Mutual and Pepsi. I believe my job is to channel the brand’s voice, not my own creative voice, which has led to a diverse range of tonality in the work – something I am very proud of. Currently, I am Executive Creative Director at Deutsch/LA and oversee 6 brands: Taco Bell, Dr Pepper, Diet Dr Pepper, Canada Dry, Mott’s and 7UP.
I believe that great work is the result of building excellent, trustworthy and collaborative relationships with clients and between all disciplines within the agency. In fact, I’ve recently released a book entitled, “Collaborate or Die: How Being a Jerk Kills Ideas and Careers”, which explores the critical relationship between collaboration and creativity.
