With a degree in Law, Richard Marshall began his career as a graduate trainee at FCB. He then went on to work at Saatchi & Saatchi in both London and Paris. Richard Marshall is one of the partners that founded TMW in 1987. Originally, the agency launched as a direct marketing agency, but has grown to offer a broader range of creatively led marketing communications, with a particular emphasis on digital.
Richard Marshall has helped to develop the agency’s Intelligent Influence positioning which now sits at the heart of the agency and is a bespoke approach that actively influences behaviour. Clients include Unilever, Diageo, Nissan, Reckitt Benckiser, Sainsbury’s, BBC, Sony Mobile and ASOS.
TMW joined Creston plc, an insight and communications group,in 2006 and Richard Marshall sits on its executive board. In his role as CEO he continues to evolve the agency’s strategic development as well as working with many of the agency’s key clients.
He lives with his wife and daughter in West London and has a cocker spaniel called Harley.
