Joe Pistorio is a commercial and long form film and video producer. Joe has been producing for 20 years, starting out on the advertising agency side, working his way to Director of Production for agencies such as Earle Palmer Brown and Arnold Communications. He has freelanced under the moniker PixelNation for agencies such as The Martin Agency, GSD&M and MarketPowerGroup, Inc. He has been involved is several high profile campaigns such as the WorldCom launch with Michael Jordan in 1997, the US launch of software giant SAP in 2000, The Coalition on Donation organ donation campaign in 2001 and PETA?s Kentucky Fried Cruelty Campaign (2008).
Over the years and hundreds of commercials he has produced, he as worked for various clients such as The Coalition on Donation, US Airways, Roy Rogers Restaurants, Wrangler Jeans, No Fear Clothing, Ping Golf Clubs, the Virginia Lottery, Dominion Power, Mercury Insurance, the Smithfield Companies, Radar Golf, Pocket Communications, Krazy Glue, People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), and many others. Recently he has been line producing, supervising post production and head of production for Boy Genius Films in Venice, CA. for directors Scott Corbett and Ed Schumacher.
Joe has branched into long form and new media projects as well, using the network of DP?s, editors, mixers and other post production professionals for projects he produces under the PixelNation handle. He splits his time between Lake Tahoe and wherever the job takes him and has a reputation as an honest broker.
