Eric Baldwin

Creative Director at Wieden + Kennedy
Portland, United States

About me

I'm originally from the St. Louis area and began my career there as a graphic designer, working for several small design firms.

In 2003 I moved to San Francisco to work as a designer and art director at Butler, Shine, Stern & Partners. After running the design department at BSSP, I made the jump to Wieden+Kennedy in 2006 as an art director and produced award-winning work for CareerBuilder.com, Target and Old Spice. In 2009 I became a creative director, running the Old Spice, Electronic Arts and P&G accounts before transitioning to Levi’s.

I have won a variety of awards, including the 2010 Emmy for Outstanding Commercial for Old Spice’s “The Man Your Man Could Smell Like”; broadcast and digital Grand Prix awards at Cannes; the One Show Best of Show along with multiple Gold, Silver and Bronze awards; D&AD Black Pencils; the ADDY Awards Best of Show; and multiple Effies.

I currently serve as Creative Director on Kentucky Fried Chicken and W+K's creative technology group, the Lodge.
