Ed is head of the Singapore agency. His goal is to build an integrated agency that delivers idea-centric communications solutions for the clients that can work both brand-down all the way through to point of purchase.
Ed moved to Singapore from the UK at the beginning of 2007. It was in London that he learnt the craft of ideas with more than 12 years experience at RKCR/Y&R. Starting as a graduate trainee, he rose through the ranks to Global Business Director for Land Rover. Other career highlights include running Marks & Spencer Foods which he pitched and won and developing brand-building campaigns for Eurostar, Lego, Pirelli, Schweppes, Quaker, Kronenbourg 1664 and Colgate Palmolive. Most recently he picked up a silver award for the NCADA Anti-Drugs campaign at the 2008 Effies.
As a graduate in Modern Languages from the University of Exeter, understanding the changing nuances of different cultures has always fascinated him, a practice which he can now put to good use with Bates141 in Asia.
