Why did you think it was important to join the PHNX jury this year?
There's this sense of a broader picture of creativity all around it.
What do you think of our hybrid jury, featuring creatives but also strategists, clients and people from all corners of the industry?
It's in tone with the whole festival. Plus creatives shouldn't be afraid of others judging their work.
What do you think of the idea of free entry until the shortlist stage?
It's a break-the-norm format. A fresh and unexpected way to run a creative festival. We're all so busy talking about how creative the work should be, but why shouldn't the creative for the creative festival's format be that as well?
How would you define the perfect PHNX Awards winner?
Perfect.
What is having the biggest impact on creative trends at the moment?
I wish I could say fun work that makes the brand stand out. Not some trying-to-change-the-world-with-advertising sobby garbage.
Who would you nominate as your two or three “creatives of the year”?
It's still just February.
