Sebastián Aenishanslins Rubina Interview(s)

What motivates you to be part of the PHNX Jury, and what do you hope to bring to the judging process?
What motivates me to be part of the PHNX jury for the third time is the increasing level of creativity each year, making the competition more intense in the pursuit of impactful new stories and technology. I aim to bring a creative perspective and effective execution insight to the table, evaluating the originality, innovation, and technical quality of each entry.
PHNX has always been about celebrating creativity in all its forms. What new perspectives or disciplines do you think deserve more recognition in award shows today?
I believe that ideas related to the use of artificial intelligence deserve special recognition today. It's essential to highlight the effective use of these emerging technologies and how they can add value to communication, generating significant impact and opening up new creative possibilities.
Which countries or regions do you think are leading the creative field right now? And which emerging markets should we look out for?
In my view, North America and Europe are leading the way in creativity, setting communication trends that resonate globally. However, I believe that Latin America has a lot to offer in terms of innovative ideas that tackle local issues with global impact. The region boasts a rich cultural diversity and a thriving creative scene that deserves recognition.
What trends or cultural shifts do you think will define the most impactful creative work this year?
I believe that artificial intelligence will be one of the most prominent trends in impactful creative work this year. Global accessibility to technology has enabled the automation of everyday and complex processes, marking a milestone and the beginning of a new era. This will unlock new opportunities for creativity and innovation.
If you could give one piece of advice to agencies and creatives submitting their work, what would it be?
My advice would be for agencies and creatives to focus on telling authentic and compelling stories. Precision is key to conveying the essence of an idea in a clear and concise manner.
Which creative minds are inspiring you the most right now?
Right now, I'm not inspired by specific individual creatives, but rather by agencies that are setting trends and leading the industry. Gut, Droga 5, and África Creative are examples of teams that are powering creativity with their innovative vision and ability to create impactful campaigns.
