Story | SPILM (Portuguese Interdisciplinary Society of Medical Laser) is the Portuguese society for specialties that use laser in medicine and which has been a space for training, sharing experiences and disseminating the medical laser, its diagnostic and therapeutic potential in the various specialties and laser safety in Portugal. The objective was to create an identity and a visual system that reflects this society and what it means. The brand was developed inspired by light: the visual color spectrum composed by seven colors and that is used in different kinds of medical lasers. With that we developed “The beam” the symbol to represent this society. A dynamic identity system was developed, which allows exploring variations with different colors of the color spectrum, always evolving, in a mutable way, like science and medicine. A clear representation of what this society do, with the synergy between different knowledge from every discipline of laser usage in medicine. |
